(Omaha, NE) The Nebraska Strikers Women’s basketball team is back in action tomorrow following a break in the schedule over the Memorial weekend. The Strikers are scheduled to take on the Flyers Elite(3-1) who will be making the trip to Omaha from Elsberry, Missouri. The Flyers only loss of the year comes from a 76-74 loss to St. Louis Surge. The Strikers defeated the Surge back on May 14th at home with a final score of 93-85. Saturday’s game looks to be an offensively filled game with both teams having five players averaging over 10 points per game. The Flyers are led by Whitney Houston 20.5 and Yvonne Turner leads the Strikers with 19.5 points per game. The #1 Nationally rated Strikers look to improve to 4-0 on Saturday before heading off on a three game road stint to St. Louis, Kansas City and Des Moines. Saturday’s contest will be held at The College of St. Mary, 7000 Mercy Rd in Omaha. Tip off is set for 7pm. Admission is $5 for Adults $3 Kids and 5 & Under Free. As always kids who wear their own team jersey will receive free admission.
