Strikers Fourth Quarter Push Too Much for Majestic

May 21, 2016

(Omaha, NE)  Kansas City Majestic(1-1) rolled into Omaha Saturday with a strong showing of support but it wasn’t enough to get past a fourth quarter push by the Strikers.  After strong performances by both teams in the first half, they headed into the locker room locked at 54.  Majestic came out in the second half outscoring the Strikers 20-18 in the third stanza.  The Strikers again showed their depth, having five players in double figures. Shanita Arnold put up five of her game high 20pts in the fourth quarter to lead the Strikers in a 108-91 win over the visiting Majestic.  Kyrsten Crawford and Latasha Johnson led  Majestic with 15 as they move to 1-2 on the season.  The Nebraska Strikers continue their win streak to 3-0  and take a #1 National ranking in the WBCBL.  The Strikers will be back in action after the holiday as they take on Flyers Elite(2-1) on Saturday, June 4th at 7pm at the College of St. Mary.
